It’s a trend that took social media by storm in April. Everyone suddenly began embracing the slow life, an idyllic lifestyle, a return to nature, a touch of romance, nostalgia and a great need for peace and quiet.

But Pierogarnia has been in its ‘countryside era’ for quite some time now. Here, from the very beginning, it hasn’t been a trend, but simply everyday life. Local ingredients, herbs, flowers, vegetables and fruit that taste best when in season – that’s what we simply love at Stary Młyn. Add to that the tranquil interiors, natural wood, warm lighting and folkloric touches that are part of the place’s character.

The menu, featuring traditional recipes, takes on a modern form that combines an idyllic atmosphere with high quality, flavour and presentation.

April is also the month of Easter

Ours was traditional. As always, we’d like to thank everyone who put their trust in Pierogarnia for their Easter meals, because trust is the most valuable currency in the catering industry. I hope that next year Pierogarnia will bake even more mazurkas, make even more white sausage and cook hectolitres of żurek, which will find their way onto tables in many towns and cities.

And now, preparations for another celebration…

In April, we also had April Fools’ Day. We could have played pranks and pulled your leg, but we decided it was better to save our energy for something more important. 😉

The brand’s 19th birthday is just around the corner!

The truth is, yet another generation is now sitting at Pierogarnia’s tables, eating pierogi. Those who once came here as children to try their first pierogi are slowly growing into adulthood.

It’s become a bit sentimental, because this is probably the most beautiful proof that a restaurant can become part of someone’s story.

The celebration will be warm, joyful, a little touching and very communal.

This month, it’s worth remembering that the best moments, regardless of trends, always begin at the table.

And that’s exactly what I wish for you this May.
